How were you taught to do a breast self-exam, from a hand out at the doctor's office? If you were asked to learn trigger point palpation from a one page handout, would you feel adequately trained? This class will give you the opportunity to handle silicone breast models with sample lumps. You will learn a thorough breast self-check and practice how to teach it to your clients. Reduce your anxiety by informing your hands and trusting your intuition. Go beyond the pink ribbon. As this is an introductory class, we will not be working directly on each other's breasts. You will gain experience working on top of the client's hands as she practices examining herself. 6 CEUs are available for massage therapists. This class is open to the Public.
